To help you get the most from the extended recycling service, this website has additional information

to help us reach our recycling target of 60% by 2015.

Please take a few moments to have a look through and be sure to visit the site regularly for the latest recycling news and updates.

Please ensure your containers are presented at the boundary of your property by 7am on the day of collection. Any bins or boxes not emptied must be reported to the Council's Contact Centre by the end of the following working day. Diamond Jubilee Collection Schedule

As the Diamond Jubilee bank holiday is over two consecutive days, the refuse and recycling collections will be revised for the period of Monday 4^th June - Friday 15^th June (see table below). Normal collections will resume from Monday 18^th June.

Therefore if you are due a collection on Monday 4^th June, whether it is refuse or recycling, your collection will now take place on Wednesday 6^th June. Likewise, if you are due a collection on Tuesday 5^th June your collection will now take place on Thursday 7^th June and so on.
