The food waste, if wrapped properly can either be placed in with the refuse or wrapped in newspaper or kitchen paper and placed in the green re-useable bag just prior to collection.

A kitchen caddy will be provided on request which will allow the internal/external storage of kitchen waste prior to collection and which can be presented at the boundary with the re-usable bag on collection day.

An additional re-useable bag will be provided on request to provide for the additional space requirements for cardboard garden and kitchen waste. This is to provide the equivalent storage capacity of a wheeled bin.
