Yes, all food waste, i.e. cooked and uncooked food including fish and bones, can be put in either wheeled bin for collection. It can be put in the black bin with your normal refuse, preferably wrapped in a plastic or paper bag. Food waste can also be put in your green bin, either unwrapped or wrapped in newspaper, but not in a plastic bag as these do not compost down and can result in the whole vehicle consignment being rejected for composting and subsequently redirected to landfill.
