No, we will only empty what is in your wheeled bin: excess bags will not be collected under any circumstances

Bulky items can either to be taken to the Household Waste Site or a special collection can be arranged for you for a charge (with the exception of low income groups who can receive this service free of charge).
Only bins that have the lid shut properly will be emptied: it is important to have the lids shut to eliminate problems of odours and flies and to prevent spillage in the street during emptying.
To prevent having excess bags of refuse, remember to check what you are throwing away as it could be something that is recyclable - please look at the leaflet that will be delivered to you. If you are still having problems, you can book an appointment with a Waste Management Officer for an assessment.
