The food waste, if wrapped properly can either be placed in with the refuse or wrapped in newspaper or kitchen paper and placed in the green re-useable bag just prior to collection. The only bag that can be used is the paper based, compostable liner available from Alina. Please click here to see what can go in the green waste bin for more information.   

A 23 litre kitchen caddy will be provided on request which will allow the internal/external storage of kitchen waste prior to collection and which can be presented at the boundary with the re-usable bag(s) on collection day.

Two re-useable bag will be provided on request for cardboard garden and kitchen waste. This is to provide the equivalent storage capacity of a wheeled bin.
